How to import repaired or recovered Outlook PST file?

Many Microsoft Outlook users don’t know and find it difficult to import their Outlook PST file after repairing or recovery process. To make things easier, follow these two methods using which you can import repaired or recovered MS Outlook PST File on your system.

1st Method:

• After completion of repair process, close Yodot Outlook PST Repair software
• Open Microsoft Outlook
• Click on “File” then “Open” ---> “Outlook Data File”
• Browse to the location where you saved your recovered / repaired PST file
• Choose your PST file and click “OK”
• Now, the repaired / recovered will be opened on your “Navigation Pane”

2nd Method:

• After repair process completion, terminate Yodot Outlook PST Repair software
• Run MS Outlook application
• Now click on “File” menu and then select “Import and Export” option
• Choose “Import from another program or file” from the next screen and click “Next”
• Select Personal Folder File(PST) from the list and click “Next”
• Browse for the location where you saved your recovered / repaired PST file
• Choose the PST file which you want to import and click “Open”
• After selection click on “Finish” button to complete the import process

Warning:

Importing PST file using second method will merge the existing / default PST file. If you are trying to recover data from the PST file, then we strongly recommend you to use the first method, because the second method overwrites the existing PST file making recovery impossible.
