Technique 2: Restoring only deleted files from previous versions

Go to Start Button -> Click on Computer -> Navigate to the folder from where the files have deleted, right click on it -> then click on Restore Previous versions

After the above step, it will show list of available precious versions of the files. Drag the files to restore in another location (such as Desktop or some other drive location)

Note : If you don’t remember the exact location of your deleted files, then you can search for them by typing part of file name in search box provided in Document library.

To apply above procedure the following points to be remember!!

  • You cannot copy or open previous versions of files that were created by Windows Backup, but it can be restored
  • To restore a previous version, choose the previous version and then click on Restore
  • Restore files replaces the current version on your computer and the replacement cannot be undone
  • If “Restore” button is not available, then you cannot restore previous version of the file to its original location, in such case, you might be able to open or save it to different location
