Migrate Outlook Emails to Office 365

Follow the below-mentioned steps to import pst to Office 365

  • Choose Open & Export in Outlook.
  • Choose Open Outlook Data File.
  • Find the .pst file, select it, and click Open.
  • In your Office 365 folder list, right-click on your email address and choose New Folder.
  • Rename the folder.
  • Next, locate your .pst file in the folder list and click the arrow to expand the list of folders.
  • Select a folder and drag it to the new folder you just created under your Office 365 mailbox.
  • Repeat for each folder you need to move.
  • When finished, right-click on the .pst folder and choose the Close folder name.

How to Import an Outlook PST into Office 365 from Various Versions of Microsoft Outlook?

Importing Outlook 2007 pst into Office 365

  • Click on the File tab and select the Import and Export option.
  • Select the Import from another program or file option from the Import and Export Wizard and select Next.
  • Locate and select the Personal Folder File (.pst) option from the “Import a File” and select Next.
  • Use the Browse option on the “Import Outlook Data File” to navigate to the PST files location on your PC. Select the PST file using the Browse button. Click the Next button.
  • Copy all the messages to Office 365, and leave the default settings intact on the “Import Personal Folders”. Then click Finish.
  • Now, the messages will copy over and should appear under your Office 365.

Import PST File From Outlook 2010 to Office 365

  • Click on File > Open > Import.
  • Select the Import from another program or file option from the “Import and Export Wizard” and select Next.
  • Select the Outlook Data File option from the  “Import a File” and select Next.
  • Use the Browse option on the “Import Outlook Data File” to navigate to the PST files location on your PC. Select the PST file using the Browse button. Click Next.
  • Copy all the messages to Office 365, and leave the default settings intact on the “Import Outlook Data File”. Then click Finish.
  • Now, the messages will copy over and should appear under your Office 365.

Transferring Outlook 2013 pst into Office 365

  • Click on File > Open and Export > Import/Export.
  • Select the Import from another program or file option from the Import and Export Wizard and select Next.
  • Select the Outlook Data File option from the  “Import a File” and select Next.
  • Use the Browse function on the “Import Outlook Data File” to navigate to the PST files location on your PC. Select the PST file using the Browse button. Click the Next button.
  • Now, the messages will copy over and should appear under your Office 365.

Importing Outlook 2016, and 2019 PST files into Office 365

  • Click on File > Open and Export > Import/Export.
  • Select the Import from another program or file option from the “Import and Export Wizard” and select Next.
  • Select the Outlook Data File option from the  “Import a File” and select Next.
  • Use the Browse function on the “Import Outlook Data File” to navigate to the PST files location on your PC. Select the PST file using the Browse button. Click Next.
  • Now, the messages will copy over and should appear under your Office 365.
