“I use to have 500GB hard drive on my computer and it is having only two partition/volumes C and D of 250 GB each. In volume D I saved all my personal data like photos, music, videos etc and I thought of dividing this partition into two drives, so that I can save other data in second volume. I divided volume D into two drives by shrinking the volume D, but the newly created drive does not appear on “My Computer” window. When I check in “Disk Management” the new volume is created and it’s showing as unallocated space. Even I can’t see my data on the D volume which was partitioned. I had stored all my personal data in this volume itself and I don’t have any data backups!! Is there a way to recover my data from this volume, if it is then anyone please help me to come out of this issue???”
