Resolve Photoshop Error Cannot Save File Larger than 2GB

I have a PSD file on which I’ve been working on for many months. This week I got a new computer; when I open this PSD file on my new system, I am not able to save it as a PSD. The file size according to Windows Explorer is 600MB, wWhereas in Photoshop CC’s the document size displayed at the bottom of the document Window is 288.4M/1.77GB. Yet when I try to save this PSD file on my new computer, I get this error: “Error Photoshop cannot save PSD file more than 2GB”.

I have been working on this document for the last several months on my old computer; I didn’t have a problem in saving it. But now on my new computer, I am unable to save this PSD file. I had copied all of my preferences files from the old computer to the new and I don’t see any settings that are different between two computers. Can anyone please help me out in this situation?
