Solved: Why Your Drive Shows as RAW and How to Fix It?

Step 1: Scan the RAW Drive

Step 2: Run CHKDSK

  • Open Command Prompt (Run as administrator)
  • Type chkdsk and hit Enter key
  • Type chkdsk D: /r (Replace D with a RAW drive letter)
  • Press Enter

How to Format a RAW Drive?

  • Right-click on My Computer/This PC
  • Choose Manage option
